Admission Procedure
MBA
For admission to first year of MBA in Institution of Computer Science & Technology (College Code: 107), Varanasi affiliated to UPTU, Lucknow.
UPSEE Entrance Test – a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years or more duration from any recognized Indian University; or its equivalent recognized by A.I.U. securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
MCA
For admission to first year of MCA in Institute of Computer Science & Technology (College Code: 107), Varanasi affiliated to GBTU, Lucknow.
UPSEE Entrance Test – a candidate must have passed Bachelors degree course of three years or more duration from any recognized University; or its equivalent, securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Bachelor degree level.
Note: As per the decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court, State Govt. has permitted 15% of total sanctioned seats available in Private Institutions to be filled by under Management quota.
In MBA/MCA 85% seats will be filled by UPSEE Counseling.
Admission under Management Quota/Vacant Seats
Firstly, by the qualified candidates of UPSEE. Their relative merit will be decided on their rank in UPSEE.
Secondly, by the qualified candidates of valid CAT (or valid MAT after CAT). Their relative merit will be decided on their rank
in respective entrance examination.
Thirdly, by the merit of candidates in qualifying examination with following condition:
For admission to first year of MBA, a candidate must have passed three years or more bachelor degree course from any recognized University; securing minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks.
For admission to first year of MCA, a candidate must have passed three years or more bachelor degree from any recognized University; securing minimum 50%(45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate without any grace marks. Candidate must have passed with mathematics at 10+2 level or at bachelor degree level.
BBA
Passed Intermediate or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with 45% of marks in any discipline from any recognised Board.
BCA
Passed Intermediate or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with 45% of marks with Mathematics as a Subject from any recognised Board.
B.Com.
Passed Intermediate or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with 45% of marks with Commerce/Economics/Mathematics as a Subject from any recognised Board.
B.Sc. (Bio-Tech and Microbiology)
Passed Intermediate or 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with 45% of marks with BIO GROUP from any recognised Board.
M.Com.
B.Com from any recognized Indian University or its equivalent recognized by A.I.U.
M.Ed.
B.Ed. securing atleast 50% of marks.
B.Ed.
Graduate securing atleast 50% of marks with two school subjects.
Admission Procedure
Candidates are required to apply using the SHEPA application form available with the information brochure. A list of required documents is also mentioned in the application form. After screening the applications, candidates will be called for a group discussion and an interview. Admissions shall be made on the basis of a composite merit drawn from their graduation score, aptitude test and group discussion/personal interview.
