The first constituent of SHEPA, the Institute of Computer Science & Technology, was established in 1998 with MCA programme affiliated with VBS Purvanchal University and approved by AICTE. Subsequently after setting-up of U.P. Technical University, the affiliation got transferred to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

MBA Programme was launched in 2004. Further, other programmes were launched by the institute are BCA, BBA, B.Com, M.Com and B.Sc. (Biotech) which are affiliated with M.G. Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi.

It is really encouraging to note that the buds that are blossoming in ICST as young graduates, the products of ICST, are contributing to the economic growth of the country either as computer scientist or as manager, commerce experts in government, trade and industry.

Our faculty members are trained and developed through various faculty development programmes, seminars and workshops. Further they are encouraged to pursue higher education in their respective disciplines. The ICST is recognized under section 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC for its academic excellence.
